I'm Katie — the loudmouth behind Babe Co.

Pull up a chair, because I've got a story to tell you.

I started this brand back in 2012 with big dreams, zero solid plan, and an absolute refusal to make jewelry that was cute, quiet, and boring. I was the woman who wanted bold pieces, real messaging, and something that actually fit who I was, and I kept looking around but couldn't find it. So I built it myself.

For a decade, I built under the name Metal Marvels, and somewhere along the way, something shifted. The brand had grown into something bigger than jewelry. It was a community. A movement. A middle finger to every message that ever told women to shrink themselves, soften their edges, or be a little more palatable for other people's comfort.

In 2022, I asked our customers what words they associated with wearing our brand. They said Bold. Badass. Empowered. Unapologetic. So I listened, and Babe Co. was born.

B.A.B.E. = Badass. Bold. Empowered.

But here's what makes this brand different from every other jewelry company trying to sell you something: we actually give a damn about what's happening in the world.

Our products are unapologetically political because we are. Protest jewelry isn't a trend for us — it's the whole point. And beyond the shop, I run Collective Aid OC, a mutual aid organization that keeps community fridges stocked and shows up for people when systems fail them. Because empowerment without action is just a bumper sticker.

I built Babe Co. for the women who were told they were too much. The ones who curse too much, care too much, take up too much space. This is your place.

So buy the badass jewelry. Wear it loud. And if anyone has a problem with it, that's the whole fucking point.
